The Arab American National Museum opened in 2005 and is the first museum in the world devoted to Arab American history and culture. Located in Dearborn, Michigan, the Museum seeks to show visitors the Arab American story through a timeline of exhibits while dispelling misconceptions about Arab Americans.
This project is produced through a collaboration between the Arab American National Museum and the Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies. It is funded through a generous grant the NHPRC.
The aim of this project is to create singular gateway for researchers to learn about and access the various collections of Arab American histories which are housed in various institutions across the US.
